Hi, I'm Xavier.
I’m a Staff Product Designer based in New York, with 20+ years of experience across branding, illustration, instructional design, and digital products. I work remotely with teams across time zones, helping shape product direction while staying hands-on with the details.
At Peatix, I work on the experience of discovering, creating, and attending events. Some days that means figuring out how to get people through the door at a busy event. Other days, it’s working through the details of a component the whole team will use. I enjoy that mix, and the conversations with designers and engineers that help us figure things out together.
Design is a team sport.
A few things I care about when working with a team.
Make the reasoning clear
I want the team to understand why a design took the shape it did, what we considered, and what we’re still figuring out.
Make the everyday work easier
A useful design system gives people a starting point they can trust, so they can spend more time on the problem in front of them.
Know what can wait
There’s always more we could build. I work with product and engineering to decide what needs to be there at launch and what we can come back to.
Keep learning after launch
Getting something out the door gives us a chance to see how people actually use it. Their feedback helps us decide what to improve next.

I’m a member of the Long Island Crokinole Club, and I design our logos, website, and merch. It’s another way I get to contribute to a club I enjoy being part of.

Oceanside Logo & Merch
I created my own take on an Oceanside logo and turned it into merch. It’s an independent project, and people in the community have embraced the more modern design. Seeing neighbors choose to wear something I made has been the best part.
